Trevor Moore developed a passion for wood and design whilst at school. After teaching for a while
he soon started his own company, to design individual pieces of furniture, quickly applying his
design and craftsman's skills to creating beautiful kitchens. The principles of the Arts & Crafts
movement established by Phillip Voisey and William Morris are close to Trevor's heart. Clean lines,
integrity of structure and the use of natural materials are still criteria he applies.
With a mother who is an artist, a grandfather who was a goldsmith and a grandmother who was a Court
dressmaker it is not surprising that Alison Moore should have inherited some creative genes. Alison
is an interior designer researching period style and using her eye for colour and form to look at each
project from the interior design viewpoint.
Trevor's first ever apprentice, Steven Bradfield worked for him for 10 years before leaving the company
for three years, developing management and site skills elsewhere. he returned to the fold in 2004, and is
now director in charge of site management. A highly skilled craftsman himself, with a wide experience of
all the challenges faced on site, Steve personally supervises our experienced fitters to ensure total
continuity from workshop to your home.
After gaining Art & Design qualifications, and sharing her mothers love of interiors, daughter
Gemma Moore has joined the family company, already using her design skills to great effect, and
poised to take the company forward when Trevor and Alison finally decide to dust off the sawdust
for good. Design meetings are the forum for much discussion and all new projects have the benefit
of everyone's input.
