Edwardian Country House

Our brief was to create a family kitchen for our clients and their large family in this cloistered room of a former boys school. We included dining for eight, soft seating around the fireplace, a panelled chimney and seating for breakfast at the island. A designated scullery area was designed through the archway close enough for cooks use but out of sight of guests.

Art Deco Town House

This basement kitchen was originally designed for staff and so had no decorative features nor windows at eye level. The original chimney had been destroyed so we designed a new one to include an otherwise wasted alcove and incorporated a corner spices cupboard. The freestanding island has a raised shelf for serving and an eye level stainless steel pan shelf.

Edwardian Terraced Villa

Distressed paintwork and scrubbed timber tops are features of this essentially freestanding kitchen. A faux range was designed as visual interest to distract from the modern built in appliances that provide the cooking. The huge welsh dresser holds all the china and tableware whilst food is kept in the larder cupboard.
